I’ve just picked up a fine art album for Daisy and Dave which is bound in this new natural linen I’ve discovered, LOVE IT.
Yep, they are more spendy than a coffee book but wow….italian fine art matt paper, all beautifully printed and mounted onto gorgeous thick card. The whole thing is hand stitched by a wonderful local bookbinder who takes great care in his work and has amazing attention to detail. It really shows.

The pages all lay flat and it comes in a clamshell box to protect it, which is a work of art in itself. The dust jacket around the book is optional.
Although not everyone wants an album, I think they really are worth it. It’s the extra care and time that goes into something like this that makes it so special.
My aim is to make the design and materials as timeless as I can so they won’t date with latest fads but instead will be something that grandkids ‘wow’ over.
That’s why each one is custom designed, no templates. And custom made, all by hand.
